Real Madrid are mulling over a move for Brazilian teenager Augusto Cesar Verissimo Galvan, reports Marca.
Galvan, who is on the books at Sao Paulo, has been tracked by Real Madrid over the past few months.
The 17-year-old is out of contract on December 31 and does not want to renew his deal at his current club – a situation Real are keen to take advantage of.
The playmaker would feature for Real Madrid’s Castilla side and their U19s if he makes the move.
“Galvan has gone under the radar, of late, despite being highly touted as a bright talent, mainly because of the lack of game time received at Sao Paulo. For reasons unexplained, Galvan has not featured for Sao Paulo in 2016.
The lack of game time seems to have made the 17-year-old disillusioned at the historic Brazilian club with the 17-year-old having no intention to even negotiate a new deal at the club The attacking midfielder’s current contract is set to expire in December and it looks like he would rather take his chances at another club than run the risk of stagnating his progression.” -HardTackle
