Two Nigerian Students Arrested For Selling Drugs In India

Two Nigerian students have been arrested by police in Bengaluru, India for allegedly selling cocaine in the city.

The two students were identified as 32-year-old Chinedu Obhali and 30-year-old Sopuruchi Mensah Godwin who were both living in the Chikkagubbi locality of Bengaluru. They are students of a private college in Chikkagubbi.

According to Police, the two men were found to be selling cocaine in 10 gram packets to fellow college students and foreigners in Bengaluru. They buy the drug from another Nigerian in Mumbai.

The police say the duo came to India on student visas which would expire on September 17, 2017.

A case has been registered against the two students under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Forensic Act and Passport Act.
