Both Arsenal and Everton are closely following Torino striker Andrea Belotti, say reports in Italy.
However, the Serie A club are hoping to tie the Azzurri international down to a new deal in Turin.
“Belotti has a contract with us until 2020 and we are thinking about extending because he deserves it,” Torino president Urbano Cairo told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Belotti has been in stunning form this season and has already scored eight goals in ten Serie A appearances.
That has sparked interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, while Everton have been tracking the Italian since the summer.
But now Torino president Urbano Cairo has revealed they will offer the 22-year-old a new contract in order to keep him at the club.
“His mum and dad told me about the little gift his grandma gives him every time he scores,” Cairo told Tuttosport.
“I’ll give him a gift which is a little bit bigger, but I think he’ll like his grandma’s gift as much as mine.
“Belotti has a contract until 2020, but yes we’re working to extend it further.”
