Stowaway Found Dead On Arik Air Plane

The lifeless body of a stowaway was found was found in the wheel well of an Arik Air plane after it landed in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Plane had departed the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos at 3:55pm on Tuesday and landed at the Oliver Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg just before 11pm. The body was found on Wednesday in the wheel wall by engineers of South African Airways facility during a routine inspection.

“The lifeless body of a stowaway was on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 found in the main wheel well of one of Arik Air’s A330-200 aircraft,” Arik Air spokesman Adebanji Ola said in a statement. “Investigations are ongoing to determine how the stowaway found his way into the aircraft’s main wheel well.”
