Nigeria Recruitment: Final Assessment 'For 500,000 Jobs' Begins Today

The Presidency had on Sunday announced that the over 200,000 unemployed graduates selected in the first batch of the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration’s plan to hire half a million Nigerians would formally start working and earning their stipends on December 1, 2016.

The 200,000 unemployed graduates were selected by the Federal Government as part of the N-Power Volunteer Corps which will ultimately engage 500,000 graduates.

According to Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Laolu Akande, they were employed two weeks ago and their names have been sent to states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where they will be deployed to their specific assignments.

Mr Akande further added that the names of those who were successful would be published this week on the N-Power internet portal, while the participants would start receiving SMS messages informing them of their selection as from today, November 21, 2016.
