Juventus want to sign out-of-favour Chelsea right-back Branislav Ivanovic on a free transfer next summer, according to the SUN
The Serbian’s current deal runs out at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and the Serie A champions will move for the versatile defender if as expected right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner leaves Turin in January.
The 32-year-old, who is on £65,000-a-week at Chelsea, could be offered a three-year deal with Juve worth £41,000-a-week
Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli complete the back-three — and the trio also played in the same system under Conte for Italy.
However, injuries have disrupted the back-line this season, and Ivanovic would fit in seamlessly.
The Italian style of play would suit the Serb who makes up for his lack of pace with robustness.
