Francis Coquelin has said he would love to finish his career at Arsenal.
The Frenchman has made more than 100 appearances for the Gunners after making his debut as a teenager.
Coquelin has spent spells on loan at Lorient, Freiburg and Charlton, but the 25-year-old midfielder intends to spend the rest of his playing days at the Emirates.
“I’m a person who is loyal to my club, I came here very young, I owe Arsenal so much,” the French midfielder L’Equipe.
“So at the moment things are going well and my inclination is to stay at Arsenal for as long as possible. But then there has to be that desire on both sides.
“I think I’m already at a very, very big club. Spending the rest of my career at Arsenal would make me very proud.”
Coquelin missed three months of last season with a knee ligament injury but has featured in all but two of Arsenal’s 12 league games this season.
