Barcelona scouted one-time Man City target Bruno Peres at the weekend, according to Sport.
The La Liga champions are looking for a new right back and Peres is on their shortlist. The Brazilian, who was recently linked with City, had various offers last summer and eventually opted for Roma.
Barca’s sporting director Robert Fernandez watched him in action during the Romans’ 2-1 weekend defeat at Atalanta, while he was scouted by Bayern Munich as well.
Fernandez also monitored Atalanta’s Franck Kessie in the same match. The 19-year-old has various Premier League clubs on his trail.
Barcelona and Roma are both respectively second in La Liga standings and the Italian Serie A table. Bruno Peres has appeared in nine Serie A games for Roma this season as he has scored one goal. He is well known for his quick pace and attacking prowess, which is certainly why Luis Enrique likes him a lot.
