It’s almost the end of 2016 and with all the hardship, insecurity and scandals that have come with this year, I have been thinking of ways to contribute my quota towards making the world a better place.
A world where one can travel from one part of the world to another without fear of the unknown. You know, one where, instead of CNN breaking news of wars, suicide bombings, hostage taking or school shoot-outs, there would reports of something good happening all around the world.
Although, I cannot guarantee such a world, I know something that can make a lot of positive difference in the one we live in – a smile!
A smile may not stop all the war or man’s hatred for man, but it will surely make a lot of difference if we smile to each other, no?
So, here’s the deal. I have been collecting smiles on people from different works of life as my Christmas gift to the world and will be posting at least 5 pictures daily till the year ends.
The goal is to make a big collage of these smiles and send out as my New Year card.
I can think of many other reasons to smile, but smile because the world always looks brighter from behind a smile and if you don’t have one, I’ll give you one of mine for totally free.
