Tottenham have been linked with a move for Romanian midfielder Razvan Marin, but they may face competition from Genoa, PSV Eindhoven and Napoli.
The 20-year-old plays for Vitorul Constanta and reports in Italy claim Spurs have shown an interest in the midfielder.
Il Mattino are reporting that Tottenham watched the player in action on Friday night – along with the likes of Napoli, Juventus, Inter Milan and PSV Eindhoven
The midfielder, just 20-years-old, was rated man-of-the-match according to the report as his team Viitorul defeated CFR Cluj 2-1 in the Romanian Liga I over the weekend.
Marin is helping lead his unfancied side to a potential title tilt this season – as they currently sit third in the Romanian top-flight and just three points behind top club Steaua Bucharest.
The central midfielder recently won his first caps for the senior Romania national team and scored in a 5-0 win against Armenia.
Tottenham will no doubt be hoping they can win the race for this talented player and add him to their already extensive list of top young talent.
