Paco Alcacer has admitted he couldn’t turn down Barcelona when they made a move for him earlier this year.
The Valencia academy graduate ended his lengthy association with the Mestalla club when he joined Barca at the end of the summer transfer window.
The forward was asked about his move to the Nou Camp on Spanish radio station Cadena COPE and said:
“It’s very difficult to say no to Barcelona. I am a player that came from Valencia, I am Valencia [through and through] and it was a very difficult decision, but I think that for any player it is a step forward in their personal career and I think that I have done well.
“The day that I signed was a happy day, but of course, I have always said that Valencia gave me everything and thanks to them I am where I am.”
