Napoli Keen On Odion Ighalo

Serie A side Napoli are eyeing up a January swoop for Watford striker Odion Ighalo, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Nigerian international moved to the Hornets from Udinese in 2014 and has since scored 36 goals in 77 league matches, helping to guide Watford to a top-half of the table finish in the Premier League last season.

Corriere dello Sport claims that Hornets patron Giampaolo Pozzo has an excellent relationship with his vesuviani counterpart Aurelio De Laurentiis which could be key to his potential arrival.

And, although Ighalo has been brilliant since joining Watford, he has only appeared five times in nine appearances so far this season with Walter Mazzarri now in charge.
