Kelechi Iheanacho Makes 30-Man Shortlist For CAF African Player Of The Year

Super Eagles and Manchester City Striker Kelechi Iheanacho has been named in the 30-Man shortlist for the CAF African Player of the Year 2016 award.

Iheanacho is one of three members of the Super Eagles in the shortlist as fellow Nigerians, John Obi Mikel and Ahmed Musa were nominated too.

The trio join last year’s winner, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon and Borrusia Dortmund, Leicester City and Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez and Antalyaspor and former Cameroon striker Samuel Eto’o to challenge for the best African player for 2016.
