Juventus have held talks over a potential move for Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla, according to Calciomercatio.it.
The 31-year-old’s contract at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of this season and the Serie A champions are keen to capitalise on the situation.
However, Cazorla, who has been plagued by injury in recent seasons, has revealed he would not hesitate extending his stay with the Gunners were they to offer him an extension.
“If they offer me a new contract I’ll sign it because I am very happy at this great club,” the Spaniard said.
Juventus are very keen to improve their midfield options and continue to target Zenit’s Axel Witsel alongside Cazorla.
