Tottenham look like they are going to extend the contracts of two of their most important players. The Sunday Mirror reports Hugo Lloris and Toby Alderweireld will join the likes of Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Dele Alli and commit to Spurs and Mauricio Pochettino.
Kyle Walker, Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose have also all signed new deals at White Hart Lane as Pochettino looks to build for the future in north London.
The Mirror claims that Lloris and Alderweireld, who were among the Lilywhites’ most important players in their Premier League title challenge last term, are close to putting pen to paper.
Both players already have three years to run on their current deals at White Hart Lane, but boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to ensure that neither departs to a rival and will therefore hold talks with the duo next week.
Lloris is believed to have verbally agreed to extend his terms in North London prior to heading off for the European Championship finals in France this summer, but a deal could not be struck in time and discussions had to be put to one side.
