Eintracht Frankfurt want to extend Real Madrid starlet Jesus Vallejo’s loan at the club, reports AS.
Vallejo joined Eintracht on a season-long loan during the summer and the defender has starred for the German club during the first few months of the season.
The 19-year-old has impressed so much for Eintracht that the Bundesliga outfit want to retain his services next season too.
Eintracht’s sporting director Fredi Bobic is planning to travel to Madrid to find out if Real Madrid are willing to extend the teenager’s stay in Germany.
Vallejo’s performance in that game earned a place in the official Bundesliga fantasy XI for the weekend, as well as praise from his club boss.
“I’ve never seen a player like [Vallejo], as a player or as a coach,” AS quote Kovac as saying. “This kid is scandalously good.”
Eintracht goalkeeper Lukas Hrdecky has also been impressed with the teenager, according to Marca.
“He is our best player at the moment,” Hrdecky said. “Vallejo makes my work a lot easier.”
