Inter Milan head coach Frank de Boer is confident he has the owners’ backing but knows he must reassure them with a midweek victory over Torino.
Speaking after Inter’s 2-1 loss to Atalanta in Bergamo on Sunday, De Boer told inter.it:
“Three defeats in a row is not good enough for a great club like Inter, but I’ve seen that the team can get a lot better.
“The only way to come through this is by working hard and speaking with the players to understand how we can change things.
“I feel the club’s confidence in me but we need a win to turn things around. I want to see a confident team out there.”
Mauricio Pinilla scored a late penalty for Atalanta after Inter’s Eder had cancelled out Andrea Masiello’s opener.
