Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, was said to have slumped on Monday at the premises of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where he is being held in their custody.

His spokesman, Jude Ndukwe, had on Monday night raised the alarm that his boss had slumped in custody of the EFCC.
However, in a swift rebuttal, the EFCC dismissed Ndukwe’s claims, saying there was no truth whatsoever to them.

The EFCC, through its spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said:
“There is no truth whatsoever in the dubious and attention-seeking alarm that Fani-Kayode slumped and was revived by EFCC medical personnel.”
“There was nothing like that as the said Fani-Kayode and Obanikoro sat together and enjoyed their jokes at the first round of checks of inmates in EFCC custody on Monday night.”
