West Brom midfielder Craig Gardner has signed a new two-year contract until 2018, with the potential for a further 12-month option.
The 29-year-old, who has made 81 appearances for the Baggies, was due to be a free agent next summer.
“It’s brilliant for me to extend my contract, especially at a time when the club are bringing in some top players,” he told the club website.
“This is a great family club and the lads are brilliant to play with.
“I just want to keep playing Premier League football alongside some top players that can hopefully help us climb into the top 10.”
Gardner, who joined West Brom on a free transfer from Sunderland in 2014, has made 81 appearances for the club, scoring six goals.
