Chelsea are willing to pay £24m plus a player with add-ons to sign £35m-rated Porto teenager Ruben Neves, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The youngster has emerged as a key player for the Portuguese giants, and has also attracted interest from Liverpool, Valencia and Juventus.
But Chelsea are leading the chase, and reportedly want a decision from Neves by the first week of November over whether he’d be willing to join when the transfer window opens in January.
According to reports in Italy, Juventus are also said to be interested and have been tracking the teenager since 2014.
The Bianconeri are in need of midfield reinforcements following the departures of Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba over the last 18 months, while Claudio Marchisio is only just returning from a serious knee injury.
