With Aleix Vidal expected to be on his way out of the Camp Nou, Mundo Deportivo claim Barcelona will be in the market to bolster their defensive options.
The Catalans bought a number of young reinforcements during the summer transfer window and reports claim they want more ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Their main target is Lucas Hernandez but Atletico Madrid are unwilling to sell the Frenchman. Barca are also monitoring the 20-year-old’s brother Theo Hernandez, who is currently on loan at Alaves.
Other names on their shortlist include Las Palmas’ Mauricio Lemos, Athletic Bilbao’s Aymeric Laporte, Lyon’s Emanuel Mammana, Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen and Hoffenheim’s Fabian Schar.
