Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Everton’s Ronald Koeman are both readying themselves for a January tug of war over Hull starlet Josh Tymon, according to The Sun.

The Daily Mirror is also reporting Arsenal and Everton’s interest in the 17-year-old left-back.

Both clubs have targeted Tymon after tracking the Hull native’s progress with the Tigers’ development squad this season,

And both Wenger and Koeman sent scouts to watch Tymon in Hull’s EFL Cup 2-1 win over Bristol City on Tuesday.

The teenager impressed during the Ashton Park clash after being sent on as a sub for left-back Andy Robertson, who came off with a calf injury.

Tymon – who earns just £160 a week – is now set for a Premier League debut against Watford on Saturday following Robertson’s Knee Operation.

The Tigers are desperate to hold on to Tymon, who is yet to sign a contract extension at the KCom Stadium.

But Arsenal and Everton view Tymon as the next big thing and are reportedly ready to break the bank in order to sign him.
