A woman in Australia discovered that her male colleagues were tracking her menstrual cycle so they could avoid her when she was moody and “stay away from trouble”.
The unnamed woman found out her colleagues were keeping track of her ‘time of the month’ after she had a small argument with one of them who then proceeded to ask if she was on her period.
She asked how he knew and he confessed to tracking her cycle and sending himself reminders of when her period was about to start. “They want to stay away from me when I’m PMSing because I get a bit moody” the woman said.
The man responsible had sent the calendar to their male colleagues and justified his actions by saying it wasn’t inappropriate as they were really good friends. He added that it was a “good strategy to track her period cycle in order to avoid unnecessary situations” and he was “just trying to stay out of trouble”.
