Torino want to sign Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart permanently when his season-long loan deal in Turin runs out at the end of the campaign, reports Tuttosport.
According to the Turin sports daily, the Serie A club are prepared to hand the England international a €2m-per-season contract to remain with them on a full-time basis.
Joe Hart has made just four Serie A appearances for Torino so far, but has already won the hearts of both the club and fans. A marquee signing bigger than any Torino have seen in a long time, his acquisition on loan from Manchester City was seen as a show of ambition by Il Toro, who are aiming for European qualification.
But what of Joe’s long-term future? Even though he was no longer needed by Pep Guardiola, he is still one of world football’s most recognisable goalkeepers and with more time to plan his future next summer, could appeal to many big clubs in search of a new shot-stopper.
However, according to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Hart has found an apartment in the centre of Turin and is beginning to love the city. Because of this, he is reported to be open to the possibility of staying beyond his one-year loan if an agreement can be struck.
