Nigerian Police Rescued Kidnapped Indian Man In Ikorodu
The Lagos State Police disrupted a kidnap attempt rescuing an Indian man from suspected kidnappers in Ikorodu area of Lagos state.
The Police Commissioner for Lagos state, Mr Fatai Owoseni confirmed this to reporters at his weekly briefing on Thursday.
According to the commissioner, the Indian man was working at a construction site when the incident happened.
Man Uses N100 As Bait To Defile 9 Boys In Kano
A certain man accused of ‘forcefully’ engaging nine under-age boys in the act of anal intercourse using N100 as bait has been dragged to court in Kano state.
Alhassan Musa, 28, on Wednesday, appeared before a Magistrates’ Court sitting at Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano, for allegedly sexually abusing nine minors.
The accused, who hails from Gwammaja Layin Jirgi, Kano, was charged with unnatural offence, contrary to Section 284 of the Penal Code, Vanguard said.

The landlord, identified as Mr David Agberemole, who is a supporter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has apparently been making life hard for the APC supporting tenants.
18 Boko Haram Militants Surrender To Nigerian Military As Factions Clash In Borno
No less than 18 members of the Boko Haram Islamist militant group and their families have surrendered to Nigerian military after bloody clashes erupted between factions loyal to the group’s founder, Abubakar Shekau, and the IS-backed Abu Musab Albarnawi in northeastern town of Monguno, Borno state, AFP said on Thursday.
“They are under custody of Monguno command and we believe the dual battle between Albarnawi and Shekau’s camps may have compelled them to sneak out and surrender,” Ali Mohammed, a member of a vigilante group in northeastern town of Monguno, said on Wednesday.

The Nigerian military on Wednesday morning announced that its troops have arrested a Boko Haram suspect, Muhammed Bulama, who is number 105, on its wanted list, in Yobe state.
A statement from Acting Director Army Public Relations Officer, Col. Sani Usman Kukasheka said they were arrested while riding on horseback and bicycle shepherding some sheep towards the market.
