The Murphy Twins To Remain At Norwich City

Norwich City manager Alex Neil insists twins Jacob and Josh Murphy will be staying a Carrow Road for the foreseeable future amid reported interest from Everton.

Speaking on the EFL Podcast, the Scot said: “No I don’t think so [on concerns that the twins may outgrow Norwich], they’ve been in the lower leagues and Josh was with MK Dons in the Championship last year and Jacob was at Coventry beforehand.

“They’ve been at clubs, and obviously no disrespect here, who aren’t challenging at the top of the Championship or played in the Premier League as we have done over the past four or five years.

“I think they’re at a great place to develop and they’ve still got some developing to do so I think they’ll stay here and get better.

“When the time comes, if it does come, that they’re ready to move on I’ll know that and they’ll know that but certainly Norwich is the best place for them just now.”
