#ProjectFame9.0 Gala Night: A Night of Dancehall Music

With elimination nights over, the Super Six contestants of #ProjectFame9.0 are under no pressure to perform and as such, they all delivered flawless performances that had the audience asking for more.

With the competition nearing its climax, the last six contestants are not only interested in giving their best but also entertaining the judges, Faculty, audience and viewers. The performances of the night featured a medley of dancehall and group performances by the contestants.

The nights performances kicked off with a medley of ‘Winners’ & ‘Champion’ songs, which were first originally performed by finalists of MTN Project Fame West Africa Season 3 and 7 respectively. The group performances had the audience asking for more as the final six contestants sang with the confidence that only exceptional super stars exude. The contestants had the audience in their feet as they left the stage to stand and sing in the midst of the audience present in the studio.

After the first set of performance, the show’s presenters Joseph Benjamin and Bolanle Olukanni stepped on stage and gave a recap of the last elimination night. The presenters went on to introduce the contestants for the next set of dancehall performances. The presenters also had brief backstage interviews with each of the contestants before they stepped on stage for their dancehall performances.

The excitement of the night continued as the final six contestants stepped on stage one after the other to deliver interesting and electrifying dancehall performances from some of the most popular hit songs from the dancehall music genre which had the audience asking for more.

The judges and faculty attested to the confidence all the contestants demonstrated as they all went out of their way to impress the viewers, in hopes that they will get their votes in order to win.
