#ProjectFame9.0 Elimination Show 5: Emotions Run High

share on:

Elimination show 4 of the #ProjectFame9.0 competition saw the exit of Steve and Gabriel from the competition and elimination show 5 will also be the end of the road for two more contestants as the race for the top spot becomes fiercer.

The night’s performances kicked off with all the contestants performing 9ice’s ‘Photocopy’, the late Dagrin’s ‘Pon Pon Pon’, Duncan Mighty’s ‘Obianuju’ and Olamide’s ‘Lagos Boys’ together.

The group performance helped to ease the suspense and tension that was seemingly building but the reality of the night still could not be wiped out.

After the wonderful group performances, the hosts of the show Joseph Benjamin and Bolanle Olukanni stepped on stage and gave a recap of the last nomination show.

Then it was time for the moment of truth for the six contestants on probation- Pere, Yusuph, Oluchi, Winner, Dapo, and Mirabel.

It was revealed by a representative from Alexander-forbes- the company responsible for collation of the votes that, Pere had the highest viewers’ votes.

This meant he was not required to perform again.

The remaining five contestants; Yusuph, Winner, Oluchi, Dapo, & Mirabel stepped on stage one more time to fight their way back into the the competition and after another set of breathtaking performances by the contestants, it was time for the judges, Faculty and contestants to save one contestant each.

The Judges saved Winner, Dapo was saved by the Faculty. Mirabel was voted back into the competition by the rest of the contestants who were not on probation.

What this meant was that, Yusuph and Oluchi were eliminated from the competition.

Contestant Yusuph took a final bow by performing the late Nomoreloss’ hit track ‘Iyawo asiko’ while Oluchi on her part paid tribute to the late Kefee by singing her hit song ‘Kokoroko’.
