Nigerian Man Who Broke 30-Year Old Japanese Record Celebrates Again

The wonderful story of Nigerian Super Genius, Ufot Ekong, from Akwa Ibom state who broke a 50-year record in Japan a while back continues.

Ekong has successfully received his Masters Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Honors) from a Japanese University.

He was supported by his pretty wife and child as he received the award yesterday. The Nigerian student achieved the highest grade at Japan’s Tokia University for the past 50 years and also shot to the limelight after he solved a mathematical equation that was unsolvable for 30 years.

Ufot Ekong, achieved a first class degree in electrical engineering and scored the best marks at the university since 1965. Throughout his time in the university, Mr Ekong won six awards for academic excellence. The mathematician worked two jobs alongside his studies to pay his way as a student.
