The Philadephia 76ers’ Nerlens Noel has expressed his confusion about the center situation at the 76ers and the fact that the team did nothing to address the issue.

The 76ers are going into the new season with 3 Centers, and it’s not an ideal situation to be in as all three of them deserve starting minutes. “I think it’s just silly. This situation that we are in now with three starting centers.” Noel said on Sunday

Noel would be competing for playing time on the floor with Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor, all three of them being lottery picks. Noel in 2013, Embiid in 2014 and Okafor in 2015 and as it stands, Embiid is the expected starting center for the team in the coming season.

Something needs to happen to sort out that position for the Philadelphia 76ers.  Before last season ended, everybody knew something had to be done. The front office knew it, head coach Brett Brown knew it even the fans have known it for some time.

Joel Embiid has been unable to play for the team since he was drafted in 2014 due to injury. He has however been cleared fit for the new 2016/2017 season. Add that to the fact that Jahlil Okafor is a budding Franchise Player who is basically Philadelphia royalty. He will also be back from the injury he picked up in March.

What will finally happen with the 76ers and their three centers? Surely someone has to go .
