Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly Signs New Contract

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed Kalidou Koulibaly has renewed his contract with the Serie A club.

The Senegal international joined the Naples-based club in 2014 from Racing Genk, rising to prominence last season where he made 42 appearances under Maurizio Sarri

The 25-year-old Senegal international was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea this summer, but Antonio Conte saw several bid for the defender rejected.

“I’m happy to announce that Koulibaly has renewed his contract until 2021,” De Laurenriis wrote on Twitter.

Koulibaly has made five appearances for Napoli in all competitions so far this season.
Napoli travel to Genoa in Serie A on Wednesday night.​
