Mario Pasalic could be heading back to Chelsea in January, according to Calciomercato.com.
The Croatian midfielder joined AC Milanon loan in summer but is yet to make an appearance for the Serie A club.
AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella has given Pasalic no appearance in the league whatsoever, as the Croatian midfielder’s only outing for the club this season was in a friendly against Bournemouth, where he failed to make an impression.
According to Football Italia, the player has dropped down to the bottom of Montella’s hierarchy, as even teenager Manuel Locatelli has surpassed him.
Andrea Bertolacci and Mati Fernandez who are injured at the moment, will also be making Pasalic’s life even harder once they return.
