Ian Ayre will join German side TSV 1860 Munich as general manager when his present deal with Liverpool runs out.
The Liverpool CEO announced in March that he would be stepping down from his role when his contract expires at the end of the 2016/17 season.
Hasan Ismaik, a Jordanian businessman, is the owner of 1860 Munich and he has big plans for the club, starting with getting them promoted out of the German second division.
He told Bavarian paper Munchner Merkur that he was proud the club were able to attract someone of the calibre of Ayre.
