Manchester United are weighing up a January swoop for Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper reports that the Spain international is seen as an ‘attainable mid-season target’ for Jose Mourinho.
The £25m-rated Spain international playmaker has fallen down the pecking order at Madrid under boss Zinedine Zidane and he is on United’s radar as they search for a player who could help solve their lack of creativity.
Isco is contracted to Madrid until 2018
His only start of this campaign so far was in the UEFA Super Cup win over Sevilla at the end of pre-season, when Zidane was short of options. In La Liga, he’s played just twice – both as a sub.
