Reekado Banks' Debut Album "Spotlight"

Nigerian recording artist, singer, and songwriter – Reekado Banks released his debut studio album dubbed “Spotlight,” September 1st 2016 under the imprint of Mavin Records. The album houses 21 tracks including previously released hit singles like; Katapot, Standard, a remixe of the well appreciated Oluwa Ni, and a skit.

Prior to the album release, the honcho of Mavin Records; who is accountable for engineering majority of the most solid productions in Nigeria, stated that the album will be off the hook.

All tracks on the album are produced by the in-house producers of Mavin Records i.e. Altims, Baby Fresh, and Don Jazzy.

  1. I have listened to the album, and I want my $11 refunded to me. It’s very generic and very underwhelming. I’m glad somebody had the guts to pose this question.

  2. Apart from ‘Hey Stranger’, the rest of it appears mediocre to me. I promptly removed all the other tracks from my apple music subscription.
