Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel will undergo a medical at Deportivo La Coruna on Thursday morning, the La Liga club have announced.
The 29-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving Emirati side Al Ain, arrived in Santiago de Compostela in Spain on Wednesday night.
The Dutchman, who scored 22 goals in 146 appearances during his time at Anfield, will finalise his move to the Estadio Riazor once his medical is complete.
Babel, who in December will turn 30, will undergo in A medical on Thursday morning.
Depor revealed on their website that the deal is done as long as there are no problems with the medical.
The La Liga side have turned to the market after losing new signing Joselu to injury at the weekend.
With the transfer window shut, they were only able to move for players available on a free transfer.
