Former Italy Manager Cesare Prandelli Leading Race To Become Valencia Manager

Former Italy manager Cesare Prandelli is the leading candidate to manage Valencia, reports Marca.

Valencia parted ways with Pako Ayesteran earlier this month following a dreadful start to the season, leaving Voro in temporary charge of the side.

Several names, such as former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas, have been linked with the post but it appears as though Prandelli will be the next man to occupy the Mestalla bench.

According to Marca, Valencia’s sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch travelled to Italy last week to meet the former Italy manager.

The two parties are expected to hold another meeting soon to firm up an agreement.
