Speaking on the importance of the event, host Johnny JamJam says “In my humble opinion, I believe the consumption in Nigeria’s entertainment industry is still low in comparison to what is global obtainable and I believed every segment of Nigerian entertainment from music, movies, fashion, sports, events, award organizations among others should be given considerable attention and only that way our entertainment industry can grow or at least compete with globally”

On how he was able to pull such an event without any sponsor, event organizer said Johnny JamJam said “First and foremost, you give thanks to God for pulling things like this, you also give thanks to the hardworking crew and team around you who went miles and lengths to pull others out on a week-night. A lot of efforts, hard work and will was put into this especially when you the cognizance of risk of hosting an event on a day like this is right there before you”.

“When you believe in yourself, you do not necessarily need third parties (sponsors) to take you up the ladder, but when you can lift yourself up the ladder without assistance, then you can look below or up the ladder and ask yourself if you need others to support you or not” He added.
