Casemiro insists he never considered leaving Real Madrid amid reports clubs were willing to fork out in excess of €50m (£42.3m) to lure him away from the European champions.
The Brazil holding midfielder (left) has established himself as a key player at the Bernabeu since Zinedine Zidane replaced Rafa Benitez as coach in January, helping the club to secure an 11th European Cup.
It was reported during the summer that several unnamed clubs were considering big-money bids to secure his services, but the midfielder insists his head was not turned.
“(I was thinking) I never want to leave here,” Casemiro told Marca.
“My family and I are so happy in Madrid and at this club that for me it is impossible to think about another team or place, however much money is behind it.”
