Arsenal Intrested Udinese Teenager Panos Armenakas

​Arsenal have set their sights on signing Panos Armenakas, according to reports in Italy.

The 18-year-old playmaker, who came through the youth ranks at Watford before leaving in 2014, has been catching the eye for Udinese’s youth team. 

And now claim Arsene Wenger would like to bring him into the fold at the Emirates Stadium. 

The 18-year-old represented Watford for two years between 2012 and 2014, before signing a three-year contract with Udinese in the summer of 2014.

In November of last year, the midfielder extended his contract with the Italian club for another year, but he is yet to feature for their first team.

According to, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has had the player scouted in recent months and could make a move when the January transfer window opens for business.

Armenakas, who has also previously spent time with Italian side Brescia, was born in the United States, but has represented both Greece and Australia at Under-17 level.
