Antonio Conte is reportedly considering a move for free agent Martin Caceres, according to Calciomercatoweb.
Conte worked with the 29-year-old during his time atJuventus and is considering a move for defender after he was released by the Serie A champions.
Caceres, who is also being linked strongly with Inter Milan and Roma, was a reliable deputy to the backline of Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini during his time at Juventus
But the 29-year-old Uruguayan, who can play at centre-back as well as in both full-back positions, also struggled with injuries at the Italian champions, suffering Achilles damage in a game last February which proved to be his last for the club.
One stumbling block could be the physical state of Caceres.
He endured a number of persistent injuries during his final years at Juve and was allowed to leave following five years of service at the end of last season.
