Antoine Griezmann has decided to split from his agent and will represent himself in future.
The Atletico Madrid striker had been contracted to Spanish player agency, Grupo Santos, however the 25-year-old has decided to end his relationship with the company.
The Atletico Madrid forward was linked with a move to a number of teams in Europe, before opting to sign a new deal with the Spanish club over the summer.
“From now I’m going to operate without an agent,” he told French sports daily L’Equipe.
“But I will always have the advice of my father and also my mentor, Eric Olhats.”
Griezmann was discovered by Olhats, a scout for La Liga club Real Sociedad, whilst the 13-year-old was playing in Montpellier, France.
The forward was initially considered too small by Ligue Un clubs, however Olhats made Griezmann an offer to join Real Sociedad in San Sebastian, Spain.
