Vin Diesel Unhappy With Length Of ‘xXx 3’ – The first cut of xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage has been released, and Vin Diesel has some concerns about it.

“[Paramount] is so poised to do something so amazing with XXX,” he said to fans via Facebook. “I was speechless after watching the movie. I felt like it’s been a long time coming. The spirit of individuality that plays in the movie is kind of refreshing and kind of timely.”

He however added: “I don’t want to say anything negative, but I have to be honest. If there was one complaint I had about xXx the first cut, it’s too short. I wanted more… When people have been waiting 15 years for this franchise to return, you can’t just give them an hour and a half. It’s not fair because you just want more.”

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage sees Diesel return to the franchise after missing out on the second movie, with Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as NSA Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons.

Toni Collette, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann, Donnie Yen and Ruby Rose are also joining the franchise, and Diesel had high praise for his new cast mates. “I mean the cast is sensational,” he adds with a big grin. “You could see why they were all having so much fun, and why we had so much fun making the movie.”

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage hits cinemas on the 20th of January, 2017.
