Tottenham are considering an offer for Real Madrid playmaker Isco, according to the Daily Mirror.
Zinedine Zidane reportedly needs to trim his squad before the close of the transfer window, with one of Isco and James Rodriguez set to depart.
Club president Florentino Perez is thought to be keen James stays, meaning Isco could be the odd man out, with Spurs keen on a loan deal with an option to buy
Although the Spanish international has attracted interest from Chelsea, it’s Spurs — who can offer Champions League football — are favourites to secure the 24-year-old’s services.
The plan is to sign Isco on loan for the rest of the season.
Spurs would also have the option to land the attacking midfielder on a permanent basis next summer if the move is successful.
