Brazil forward, Neymar has set a new world record at the Rio Olympic Games, Fifa has confirmed.

The Brazil captain found the net with just 15 seconds into the match against Honduras, breaking Janine Becker’s record against Australia. She scored with just 19 seconds on the clock.

Neymar collided with Luis Lopez in the build up to his opening goal, and was stretchered off the pitch.

The Barcelona star was soon back on his feet and assisted both goals as new Manchester City signing Gabriel Jesus put Brazil three goals to the good at half-time to all but secure a place in the Gold Medal match at the Rio Games.
