Chris Brown was accused of pointing a gun at a woman and the LAPD came to his house with a squad and choppers.
Ray J who also was at the scene of the incident wasn’t having it as he condemned the disposition with which the Los Angeles Police handled the entire matter.
According to TMZ, a woman called the police at 3.11AM. She told them she was threatened by Brown with a gun in his mansion, Tuesday, August 30.
She claimed he pulled out the gun on her after she admired a piece of jewelry his friend was wearing.
Chris Payne for Billboard said, “Brown’s accuser was reportedly part of a group of uninvited guests who entered his Los Angeles home, where several friends, including singer and actor Ray J, were said to have gathered. The woman was said to have called the police while sources say Ray J was working on music.”
When the authorities visited Brown’s house, the 27-year-old denied them entry for 14 hours. He told them to get a search warrant before they could enter and search his home. He then slammed his front door in the officers’ faces.
‘War zone for no reason’
Singer and brother to Brandy, Ray J, shared a message on Instagram showing Brown support. He expressed his disappointment on the way the police handled Chris Brown‘s case.
Yo this Ray J, check it out, I’m real upset about today. I’m not happy with how things are handled and how people can take a false story and blow it up into something way more than what it should be.
You got just positive people around and you look outside and it’s like a war zone for no reason for somebody. Some stranger said about something that don’t got nothing to do with nothing.
And to react like that so fast without really knowing the facts and knowing what’s up? Ain’t cool and ya know. It’s just not right. It shouldn’t be like this.
I support the homie Chris and I support the whole movement. I’m here and again man this s–t got to change. It can’t be like this every time somebody yippin and yappin to get an extra buck.
Ya know it turns around and it’s all back on us. Ain’t cool.
Chris Brown would have been left alone but he has managed to rack up several battery allegations such as with ex-girlfriend, Rihanna and former manager, Mike Sue.
Brown stepped out of his home after a search warrant was produced and is now a suspect in a criminal assault investigation.
