share on:

As the ninth season of the project fame west Africa goes by, viewers seem to have gotten used to one fact about the show and that is the fact that it can be all sweet and pleasant with all the contestants before the dread of Elimination which can quickly turn things sour.

The #ProjectFame9.0 is not only living to expectations but also taking the dreaded elimination moment to another level. The fourth Elimination show signalled the end of the road for two more contestants in the competition.

The last nomination show saw all fourteen of the contestants get placed on probation. The presenters of the show, Joseph Benjamin and Bolanle Olukanni announced that five contestants; Oluchi, Gabriel, Eli, Benjamin and Blessing out of the 14 placed on probation had the least number of votes and as such, we’re required to perform one more time if they were to remain in the academy.

As the five contestants took the stage again, the faculty members and the judges spoke highly of them, even as the contestants put up a good fight during their respective performances. At the end of the day however, only three of them could escape elimination.
The Judges decided to save Gabriel, the Faculty saved Oluchi, while the contestants saved Eli. This meant that Blessing and Benjamin were eliminated from #ProjectFame9.0.

Both contestants eliminated spoke of how much they learnt during their time in the academy and how they will cherish the experience the project fame platform gave them. They also promised to put all they’ve learnt to good use.

Blessing and Benjamin performed for the last time before leaving the competition and their performance left a ecstatic feeling among the audience who couldn’t help but ask for more.
All the contestants also performed a medley of Nigerian songs which the audience could not help but dance to.
