#ProjectFame9.0 Elimination Show 1: Favour Exits And Two Go In

share on:

The first elimination show of the #ProjectFame9.0 season was a mixture of sadness and happiness as Favour took a bow from the show and two contestants entered the academy through the Wild Card contest.

The show kicked off with the stunning hosts, Joseph Benjamin and Bolanle Olukanni introducing the Faculty and Judges.

The hosts went on to announce that two contestants, Benjamin and Blessing out of the top 18 eliminated at the Opening Gala would be getting a second shot at the competition for getting enough views and likes on their performance videos.

Furthermore, it was also announced that five of the wildcard contestants who got their shot through the audio/video audition path to #ProjectFame9.0, Kingsley, Amanda, and Israel were shortlisted for getting the highest video views and likes of their performances.

The night’s performances kicked off with the five Wildcard contestants Benjamin, Blessing, Kingsley, Israel, and Amanda battling it out for the 2 available slots in the #ProjectFame9.0 academy.

The five hopeful contestants gave their all and at the end of the performances, the Judges chose to pick Blessing and Benjamin for the open slots.

After this, it was time to know who among the contestants on probation will get another shot in the academy from Dapo, Favour, Oluchi, and Yusuph.

The four contestants performed the songs they sang last week which put them on probation and received commendation from the judges for their marked improvement.

Unfortunately however, one person had to leave the show. Yusuph was lucky enough to get the highest viewers votes which is perhaps the easiest way out of the logjam.

Members of the faculty chose to save Oluchi while Dapo owes his second chance in the academy to his fellow contestants who voted for him.

It was however the end of the road for Favour who gave one last electrifying performance of Toni Braxton’s ‘Breath Again’ before taking her leave from the competition.
