Learning is a continuous process in the #ProjectFame9.0 academy and the contestants have an unending list of knowledge they gain from faculty members and professionals from different fields.
Academy Day 32 saw the contestants learning about social media and the impact it has had on the world, particularly the entertainment industry.
Social media is a very important tool in the modern world and even more so for people who are in showbiz and entertainment as it can be employed in the building of their brands and recognition within their locality and worldwide.
Three social media gurus: Osagie Alonge, who is the Editor-in-Chief of Pulse NG, Tosin Ajibade – the Founder of Olori SuperGal Media and Emmanuel Edunjobi also known as Emma Oh Ma God– an entertainer, all did a wonderful job in teaching the contestants all they need to know about social media.
The social media gurus taught the contestants a wide array of things regarding social media including the importance of building a strong presence on Social Media and how to effectively leverage the opportunities that they have become exposed to as a result of being on the Project Fame platform.
The visit of the guests ended on an interesting note as they engaged the contestants in a make-believe Project Fame audition, which was fun not only to the contestants but the visitors as well. They also did a parody of songs, using funny words that made a them reel with laughter.
The latter part of the day saw Oluchi seeking counsel from Uncle Ben on certain things regarding her performances in the competition.
She talked about how she finds it difficult to maintain a balance between her vocals and her stage movement which she said affects her overall performance. Uncle Ben’s advice to her was that she should keep on practicing, reminding her of the age long saying that “Practice makes perfect”.
