Barcelona are planning to make Paco Alcacer’s transfer to the club from Valencia official today, according to Superdeporte.
The La Liga champions will pay Valencia an initial fee of €30m plus a further €2m in add-ons for the 23-year-old striker.
Alcacer reportedly passed his medical on Monday morning.
The 22-year-old, who wasn’t in Los Che’s squad to face Eibar.
The Blaugrana’s interest in Alcacer was such that even sporting director Robert Fernandez recently admitted that he would be the man to fill the fourth forward void for Luis Enrique.
“Alcacer is a player that interests us a lot – it’s Alcacer or no one, we are clear on this,” he said.
Barca are likely to present Alcacer after the end of the international break.
